The AirDeck FR/AS is Fire retardant as well as being anti-static. In addition to treating the polymer of the outer with an FR additive, every fifth strand of the woven outer incorporates a conductive carbon impregnated filament. There are four conductive straps which can be either earthed directly or linked to the next bag and then ultimately earthed. In this way any static electricity generated within the AirDeck unit will be dissipated reducing the risk of static electricity sparks in areas of high risk. The outer has been manufactured to meet the standards of a Type C conductive FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container)

 

Top & Bottom clip bags are suitable for all areas where a freestanding fall arrest solution is needed. The top and bottom clips are important for applications where the outermost bags don’t have any support such as a wall to prevent the bottom part of the bag separating out. They have been used in the film industry, around truck trailers, jails, maintaining large vehicles

 

Portability is the key.  50 Bags will fit on just one pallet, which is ideal for transport and storage, and once inflated these 50 Bags will cover an area of 80 m²

 

The Bags can be rapidly deployed on site, placed in position and buckled top and bottom if required and then inflated, which in itself takes no more than 30-40 seconds per bag

 

Once inflated AirDeck forms a cushioned surface 750mm from floor level and offers protection from a fall up to 3.25mtrs above the floor level

 

Odd shapes are easily accommodated simply by pushing a part inflated bag into the gap and then completing the inflation to the normal pressure

 

When inflated these Bags are 2100mm x 750mm x 750mm

 

At the 'valve' end there is a centrally located access flap to give access for inflation/deflation.  The flap measures 500mm x 500mm, is sewn into position along the top edge with a Velcro strip fitted on all 3 remaining sides to ensure it will fall shut and 'stick' in the closed position

 

Access at the opposite end, to draw through and position the inner liner, is through a double overlapping flap (500mm x 400mm).  The design gives easy access prior to inflation and yet sites tight closed upon full inflation of the Bag affording the inner liner total protection when the Bag is in use

 

Along each long side there are three 'clickfast' buckles and an additional one at either end, to link to the next AirDeck unit

 

The inflation valve is a three part valve comprising of a 'seat', a non-return valve and a dust-cap to keep the valve clean and ensure an airtight seal

To calculate how many Bags needed:- get the total square metreage and divide by 1.6.  For example 80m² would need 50 Bags
