Buying Your Safety Gear: Frequently Asked Questions

If you have decided to buy your safety gear from Safety Lifting, you may have some questions about our ordering process, our delivery service, and our products.

We have answered some of our customers’ most common questions below; if we haven’t answered your question here, feel free to get in touch.

How do I order from Safety Lifting?

You will need to register a trade account to see our prices and place your order. Once you have created your account, you will be able to order directly from our website.

Do your prices include VAT?

The prices displayed on our website do not include VAT, which will be added automatically at the checkout.

How long will delivery take?

This will depend on the delivery option that you select at our checkout. We do offer a next working day delivery service for most UK customers; please note that orders must be placed before 3pm on a working day for next-day delivery.

Can I collect my order in person?

Yes – just select the ‘Collect from Warehouse’ option at the checkout and designate which of our locations you would like to collect from. We are open for collection between 8.30 and 17.00, Monday to Friday (excluding bank and public holidays).

Can I return items?

If you need to return something, email sales@safety-lifting.com and we will give you a returns authorisation code – be sure to include this with your returned goods, or we will not be able to issue a refund. Items must be returned unused within 14 days of delivery. Chain slings and wire rope slings are non-returnable, as these products are made to order.

I’ve forgotten the password for my trade account! What should I do?
